I read many positive reviews of lightingonthenet.com so I ordered twelve 5 in. new construction cans but they sent me the wrong item. I received the remodel type instead (and I didn't get the free bulbs).
I don't like how the remodel type is held in place and would feel more comfortable with better installation to or between joists, etc. Should I send them back to exchange or finish the ceiling now?
Thanks in advance.

What type ceiling are you installing them in, sheetrock, drop grid type? The remodel type are a snap if adding them after sheetrock is up, but not so good for grid work nor for new construction, so you may have to exchange them for new construction ones (and get the free bulbs, too)
