We replaced the belt....it was shot.
Is it possible to just buy a motor switch (r.s.p.c. # is on it) without having to buy the whole motor for an Amana washing machine?
Thanks in advance!

I doubt it. But if you plan on going through some appliance shop (or did you plan on shopping the net?), just ask them. And if you are going to shop the net, call an appliance shop anyway and just ask.
Might we ask why you suspect this part?

If say the motor hums after you replaced the belt, maybe the reason the belt broke in the first place was bad tensioner pulley that was froze, as one possible cause.

The motor runs fine....smooth, no noise and it doesn't get hot. But, it always stops on the spin cycle every time.
