I have several rooms with ceiling fans equipped with lights. Is there such a thing as a candelabra base fluorescent bulb?? My local big box store doesn't carry any.

Not that I am aware of(too small for the current technology), but CFL types are being added all the time. I would expect these to show up at big box stores first.

I put them in all my ceiling fans last week. They even came with an adapter for a medium base. Got them at Lowes.

They actually do make the candelabra based compact fluorescent light bulbs.

Sweet, short, simple.
