Okay, I have myself in deep... go ahead and laugh. I deserve it.
I was trying to get to the "blower" are inside the top-dryer on this old 70s or 80s GE Spacesaver to vacuum out all the lint that was stuffed in to the inner parts...

Whole machine (lying on its back on floor, photo oriented to look like machine is standing)

I got myself in trouble by removing screws around the front... I got enough offf that the front suddenly popped off, metal made a scraping sound, and the sides kind of popped out, and I just don;t know how to get it all back on with the drum and all... Might anyone out there have schematic, or exploded view of something like this so I can maybe put this thing back together?

Solved it myself with great patience. Works fine.

Heheh, don't you hate when you take something apart and springs and who knows what go flying everywhere? Did it have holes/slots and pins/hooks to align the front to the cabinet?

Nope. I actually had to take it apart much, much further and put it back together in an order that worked with gravity. I had the thing lying on its back, and just reduced/disassembled the heavy door assembly to basic parts, stacking them from the floor up. It worked, and once again I have stunned my wife.
And that alone is worth not calling the appliance repair man.
