Good afternoon!
I have a Kenmore 80 Series Heavy Duty Plus, the tag reads:
82380100
23801 10 60 120 C45062292
If I put it on the regular cycle and let it go, it will fill up, then once it's full, makes a continuous buzzing sound, whether the lid is up or down, then will not agitate, will not spin, will not empty. I have looked around this site and it seems most people that have the problem with not spinning are still able to drain. I also checked the lid switch and it clicks when I push it, so it should be working, I need to get a meter to really check it though.
This almost sounds like an electrical problem, but I truly do not know where to start. Can someone please help me out? Thanks!

Sounds like a bind, and the motor can't freely turn because of this. Whenever you have a motor and there is buzzing, that is usually the case, just like garbage disposers.
You are going to have to open the machine and check out the driving mechanism. The motor bearing themselves as one possiblity, and on to whatever the motor connects to, to see what might be stuck. If you try to turn something by hand, be awfully careful. Unplug machine first.
