I bought this chair covered in a velvet material that has hot glue on all the buttons. I guess at some point someone tried to get a little creative and glued something on each one. The rest of the chair is perfect. Anyway, anyone know if that stuff can be removed without taking the velvet with it? Thanks.

Hot glue can often be scraped off of surfaces. If velvet is a synthetic, it is possible that the heat from the glue melted fibers. The option is to remove one of the buttons and assess the damage and your ability to scrape off the glue. Worst case scenario is that you reapply the button with hot glue.
