I have a Frigidaire/Electrolux Side by Side that has stopped cooling. I suspect the timer has gone bad - does anyone know where it is located on a

Frigidaire Gallery model GLRS264ZAW4

There is no frost build-up on the back panel, or on the tubing when you take the back panel off. The compressor is still warm but not hot. The fan seems to still be working.

Then it wouldn't be a timer if the compressor is still warm. This shows it has been trying to run (and it would not even TRY to run if say the timer failed during the defrost cycle where the compressor never runs) or has been running, and just not cooling.

Can you tell us more what you have observed or heard while this unit has tried to run? Have you heard any short cycling clicking noises back there, for example? Have you heard a fan run in the freezer?

Pull out unit if you have to and set up a fan to blow on compressor to cool it down and see if it then even clicks to try to run.
