I have a 2001 Sear 32cc Timmer. The timmer start up without little or no problem. But once I've started the timmer and move the choke to the OFF position, the trimmer stalls. I've also fell that I'm losing power do to it. Any help would be great. Thanks

My first guess would be to check the spark arrestor in the muffler but like I said that is a guess.

Sounds like the carb should be cleaned also. I wouldn't put a lot of money into this machine, though.

Yeah....sounds to me too that the spark arrestor does need cleaning,like duigoose said.Or maybe the exhoust ports themselfs (the three holes in the cylinder behind the muffler).Your carbuator may need adjusting,if even that,but I don't think that a carb. cleaning will cure the problem.

Running on choke indicates a carburetor in need of adjusting, minimally, or a reconditioning with a rebuild kit. Power loss usually indicates a plugged exhaust system.
