I have textured my bathroom walls in a wave pattern I would like a different texture other than knock down or sponge pattern for the ceiling that I can do myself. any suggestions will be a great help Thanks Jay

Usually ceilings get textured the same or a heavier texture than the walls. How promiment is the wall texture?
IMO you should use a texture that concides with the wall texture or doesn't clash with it. I'd either use the same type of texture on the ceiling or maybe leave it slick finish.
