I have a 10 x 12 summer kitchen attached to my house - I would like to make it a usable space by insulating the walls and doing something with the floor.
It is wood and has a loft and a large brick fireplace that was used as a stove and oven.
Questions for the walls:
do i put a vapor seal on before the insulation or after or both?
Question for the floor:
The floor is a concrete slab above a large cistern - it has a hole with a pump to get the water out.
I want to put in an insulated raised floor -
How can I insulate - vapor seal it effectively?
Any suggestions will be helpful.
