Just picked up an LT 1000 Craftsman Mower that is 2 years old at a tag sale. When you turn the key, nothing happens and AMP meter doesn't register. Replaced 20 amp fuse and jumped the solenoid. Engine turned over and amp meter flashed before fuse blew. Is my solenoid bad? Also, the rear wheels seem locked-up. There is a disengagement level that I tried in both positions but it doesn't seem to disengage the transmission. Any recommendations? Thanks, Joe

The amp meter won't give much indication as to what's wrong, but you say it flashed?? We kinda need more info...the LT1000 came with a lot of different setups.

When you picked up the mower did you start, run and operate the machine before you paid for it? If so, did all work well then, and now, once home, you're having this trouble?
