my Snapper 3201S wont start correctly. it started and stopped twice for about 30 seconds each time like normal. its been sitting with fuel for a liittle over a year. is it because of bad gas or water in the gas or both. i used carb spray and put some dry gas in it just now. i believe i should drain the gas but i have nothing to dump it in and dumping it down the sewer is illegal.

You need to disassamble the crabuetror and soak it in chem-dip (you can get this at most Napa/auto zone store.Put a carb.kit in it,replace the fuel filter and YES drain the old gas.The old gas will burn in your car/truck or any other multi-cylinder gas opperated engine.

If you suspect the old gas has water in it, check it in a glass container (water will settle at the bottom). Don't pour it in your car tank if you think it has water in it.
