I have a WT 628 carb and wonder if there is a tool for adjusting the H and L screws or is it non adjustable. thanks susie

It sounds like you have one of the new carbs without plastic caps but have the new tamper proof screws. I had to order my tools through the distributor of the carbs, MTD, etc. for both Zama and Walboro. The only other thing you can do is make your own tool. I have seen atleast two different screws and I expect more down the road.

I have seen posts here where you cut slots in the heads with a small dremel tool and drilling a 9/64 hole in the end of a piece of 1/4 in dowel and then tapping it over the screws, also of super glueing a bent nail to them, the options are various and the solutions, well, un-reported. Yes you are right about the dremel. I used a cutting wheel and made a cut straight accross the heads and now i can use a regular screw driver on them. works great. thanks a bunch. susie
