Hello all. This is my first post and I hope someone out there can help. Yesterday my son ran overa metal hinge that badly damaged the blade. The deck would vibrate quite a bit if you tried to run. I removed the deck and replaced the blades. The problem is that after putting the deck back on, I noticed that when in the lowest deck setting, the front of the deck would hit the ground. I figured I would adjust the deck by raising the front. The problem is that in order to raise the deck enough to clear the ground, the front deck stablizer now comes into contact with the front wheel axel (at least when on the highest couple of settings). This seems like a bad thing. I am at a loss as to what to do.

Thanks,

sbmike

Hello and welcome sbmike!

Check the deck hangers and the points where you attatched them. SOunds like you might have gotten one of them in the wrong hole when you reinstalled the deck.

Thanks for the quick reply. There are only two possible holes in the deck hanger. I noted that the bar slips through the lowest hole when I removed them. So, I don't think that is the problem. I will double check, though. Any other suggestions? Thanks again cheese.

Post back with your model and serial numbers, which will be on a sticker under the seat, so we can see exactly what you have.
