Are you using a rinse agent ie: Jet Dry?

Yes I use jet dry, I wonder if being an energy star appliance this is the way they save energy??? Thanks

I've never seen a dishwasher that the dishes were 100% dry immediately after a dry cycle. It usually takes a while for all the remaining moisture to evaporate off.
I don't even use the dry cycle, I open the door after the unit is done, and the dishes are (completely) dry within a few minutes anyway, and dry faster than if the dry setting had been used.

LG Dishwashers dry everything by keeping in the humid air inside them, thats why they have no vents.
There's a fan on the door on the inside that circulates the humid air all around to help dry things off.
I too have an LG Dishwasher and have the same thing happens, but I usually wash at night, when it's done, I open it and leave it open until morning and take everything out.

Thank you for confirming my suspicion, so I guess it is a normal function. Thanks
