Dishwasher: LG LDF7810ST
Problem: This has just started today. In each cycle that water runs to clean, the dishwasher sounds like a car's engine. What gives? It's only 8 months old, so it can't be from age. I already contacted LG but in the meantime I want to know what could be up.
Thanks!

I can't picture the sound you are describing? A grinding? A roaring? Anyway, we know it's not normal nor something very good. Have you removed the toe-kick at the bottom front, to lay down on your floor and try to tell if it is coming from the motor/pump area? Have you opened the door of the dishwasher when IN the wash cycle itself to see if the water level is normal compared to where it used to be? (That you are not hearing a cavitation sound of machine trying to pull air to circulate? as opposed to water?) And that nothing is obstruction the lower arm from spinning freely?

Update:
I fixed the problem!
I took off the plastic from the bottom and found that some rubber seals have gotten into where it pulls the water, and put them back on. It works fine now.
The sound was a roaring.

If you are still around, could you maybe help others out by saying where exactly you found these rubber parts and where you put them back at?

when i unscrewed the filter, there was a rubber piece around it that came was off, and I had to put it back on around it.
then the plastic part under the filter also had rubber around it so I also had to put it back on. This probably happened because the screws were loose.
