We're replacing the cabinetry, sinks, faucets, and having granite countertops installed. Should we paint the walls before or after the cabinets and countertops are in place? Thanks!

Congrats on your new kitchen! I vote for doing as much of the painting as you possibly can before the cabinets go up. You may get a knick or two during cabinet installation, but a quick touch up is much easier than cutting in around them once they're up. And keep in mind you don't even have to paint the areas that will be covered by the cabinets.

I agree with Star, I just recently redid my kitchen and before anything was done, even the floor, I painted and it gave me a sense of at least something was done. As for the knicks, remodeling never goes perfectly, if you are only left with knicks be grateful!! Good Luck and enjoy your new kitchen!!

Either way will work although painting first and touch up later is usually easier than painting after cabinet install.
