Hello-

I have a washer model wjxr2080t about 8 yrs. old. Today the wife said it started making a grinding noise during the spin cycle and it wasn't spinning- and it smelled like burnt rubber. I pulled the cover off and found lots of belt shavings/ black dust. Also I noticed a very sticky, thick oil on the bottom of the pan, and the belt seems to be sticky also. Should the belt be clean and dry? From another post I read this might mean the transmission is going?

Thanks Very Much in advance for your help!
