I had my bathtub refineshed about 1 year ago. This week my roomate dropped a heavy soap dish which created chip in the finish -- it's about a quarter inch long and I can see the finish that the tub was stripped down to. Of course I don't want to refinish the entire tub because of the cost and hassle. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can possibly fix/mask this chip? I'm worried that it will become larger in time.

The tub is a cream color, I woudl of course want to match as closely as possible.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help....

Ron: there may be some aftermarket repair epoxies out there, but your best bet is to contact the person who refinished your tub. They would be better able to match color and possibly blend it better, since they are pros. Maybe they wouldn't charge but an arm for the job.
