first questions... Where can I price the blower motor and/or purchase it our right? Our service tech has told us the blower motor needs to be replaced... $375 for the motor plus labor... I trust them.
Second question: Am I over my head? I'm thinking of doing this myself. Upgrading the entire system... oil-fired hydro air system... new airhandler(First Co.), boiler(no preference) and hot water heater(Phase III). I've replaced an electric H/W heater, gutted 3bths... sweated pipes... moved drains/waste pipes and electric boxes... installed new toilets, sinks & shower inserts. Allen's Plumbing is Seymour, CT serves the diy market... they said they'll walk me through it. What do you think?

Maybe the folks at Allen's would have one. If not, any elctric motor shop should be able to get one for you at far less than $375. That price is outrageous unless you are dealing with an ECM motor. If it is by some off chance an ECM, the price quoted is a very fair price.
Regarding the conversion to hydro-air: You may be biting off more than you can chew. When considering changing out equipment, the first thing which needs to be done is a heat loss calculation called a Manual J. The next step, Manual D, deals with sizing the ducts to deliver the right amount of conditioned air to each room.

The blower motor on the "Five-in-One" is a standard motor.. You can check at a motor shop, or place like Grainger. Bring the old motor with you so they can match everything.
that is an old equipment, I'd suggest to retire it, unless everything is still working on it (Humidifer, EAC).
