We heard the fatal "klunk" and now the beast won't drain anymore. A motor sounds like it is running, but not under any strain. My guess is the pump went out, and my question is whether or not this is a problem worth fixing or not due to the age, degree of difficulty, and availability of parts. It is an under countertop installation. I ask because the manufacturer doesn't acknowledge the existence of this unit anymore on their website. Before I get too far ahead of myself, I need to know if I am on the right track with the diagnosis, and what I may have to do to find out. Otherwise, I would have to retire it and go for a new unit.
