My brother in law is able to turn on his AC at his vacation house from his house computer. All of a sudden the program got buggy and doesn't work. The guy that installed it is long gone.
He says the name of the program is AC8.trw

Any idea where I might be able to find a copy of the program so I can reinstall??

The only AC8 I have heard of relating to a/c is a controller by Liebert for computer room air conditioning but I doubt it would be this cause Liebert is a specialty product and quite expensive.

Did he not get a disk with the install?
If the program will open there should be contact info somewhere.

Since we have NO IDEA what thermostat your Bro-n-law has and if we did we tell you to go and contact the maker of the stat.
The best thing is get a new Thermostat that is controlled by phone or PC.

Might cost less to go to Honeywell. They also have one set up that you can work the tstat off the phone line. You can dial in and check temp,change status. You also have to pass code before you can do it
