From what I have ran into any of the steam kind of humidifier are just to hard to keep clean. From the junk in the water. That is why we dont sale them or install them . With just the air kind you can just put a new pad in. To clean it. I will say when they work they are very good.

Would a heatpump lessen the efficiency of a bypass humidifier if connected to hot water?
