Hello everyone,
I noticed for the first time today that what appears to be a leak underneath my air handler. My air handler sits vertical with the actual filter below it. I noticed this leak while changing my air filter. I immediately turned the system off and cleaned up the water. I went outside to my actual A/C unit to make sure that the "drain tube" ( is what I would call it, I am not sure of its actual name) had water coming out of it and it did. I figured that it might be clogged up, but it appeared to be working as intended. I turned my A/C back and in about an hour and a half I had sitting water underneath my handler. I did let it run a bit after I had seen the water to try to locate the source of the leak. It appeared to be dripping from underneath where handler is being supported from. I am not sure what to do at this point. I put my handler on "fan" for now so that my house can try to maintain some coolness. My handler is located in my house in its own separate closet. I turned off the unit again and cleaned up the water. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to try to fix this myself or should I wait till Monday to call someone in? It's the weekend and I don't want to pay extra for a service call. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you open up the air handler and take a look at the coil and drain to make sure it wasn't frozen or starting to plug up?

With the unit running in AC . You can check the big copper line it should be cold and wet the small copper line warm to hot at the out side unit. If not could be low on freon and the inside coil will freeze up like Jay said.
Might look and see that the coil is clean. Yes let just the fan run
