My ducts run through a crawlspace should they be insulated? About 25% of basement has 8 ft ceiling with concrete floor. Rest is crawl space both are open to each other. No partician between them. With a few runs over 30 feet I would think it would be wise to insulate them. All ducts are home runs no main line.
Was thinking of using reflective insulation. ( foil with air layer in between) . Is this sufficient or is there a better insulation?
Thanks for all the advice!!

It certainly won't hurt to insulate them and foil/bubble insulation would do a good job, although it can get kind of expensive.
