I have a ceiling fan/light combination with 2 pull chains. (It is also wired to a 3-way wall switch) The pull chain for the light seems to be 'stuck' -- it won't pull down so to turn off the light I have to use the wall switch. This means I can't run the fan without the light. Is this an easy fix?

Yes, it's an easy fix. They break all the time (especially when used enthusiastically). Remove the switch from the fan (after carefully recording the exact connections), take it to your home center, and buy an exact replacement. I emphasize "exact". There are lots of these, and they're not very interchangeable. If necessary, call the fan manufacturer and have them send you one.
