I have a sub floor only in my bathroom and want to put slate laminate on the floor can I do this? Also the laminated floor has molding to go around the edges when done instead of the molding can I put baseboard around?

Not sure what you mean by slate laminate, but any floor with tile or stone should be at least 1 1/4" thick and very rigid or you risk grout and/or tile cracking. Convential baseboard is fine, but in a bathroom better to use composite or vinyl materials.

Yes, you can, just make sure the floor meets the flatness requirements for laminate. Yes, also, you can do base board instead of their trim. That's normally a less expensive way to go anyhow and looks less like a laminate floor.
