I want to put in a new dishwasher and the best existing space for it is under a wall oven, inside a floor to ceiling cabinet. I can easily take out the kickplate, leaving the bottom of the cabinet and walls for structure. Has anyone ever done anything like this?

I was going to fill void space inside the cabinet with stryofoam to give the normal 24" opening for the dishwasher and can use cabinet door wood to modify the cabinet door space (once the doors are off) to the proper size (glue in pieces to give a 24" opening).

Any advice would be very helpful....particularly if I am planning something really stupid.

The dishwasher will need an electrical connection, a hot water source, and a waste drain. Have you planned for these?
