Hello Everyone: We have this bath tub that is fairly new and it is too slippery to stand on, we tried a rubber mat with the sucktion cups, but that is just as dangerous, it slides to the side.

Those sticky flowers are not any good either, because although they do help with the slipping, but they get pretty dirty around the edges after time.

We would like to know is there an inexpensive treatment that can be done to it, like a spray or something to take the slipperyness out of the tub and yet can be cleaned? Thanks

There is an etching product for tub bottoms, but I have never used it. The problem with any etching will be the same problem with the stick on flowers, as dirt will find its way into the etching requiring additional cleaning. But there are cleaners out there that will clean pretty good, so if you can find the service, I would let the pros do the etching.

Yeah, thats what we are trying to avoid, I had those flower type non stick things and as you said, they get pretty dirty after awhile too.
We were hoping there was a spray on of some kind to make it less slippery. Thanks, I guess we will have to keep digging. Maybe Invent something ourselves LOL
