I have an old VW, could someone help me know where to look for a fair selling price? Are there any web sites I could go to that would give me a fair idea?

Depending upon where you live, the absolute best place to find (and get) the best price for your Bug will (in my opinion) be at the Pomona Auto Swap Meet at the Los Angeles County, California, Fairgrounds (www.pomonaswapmeet.com). The shows are held about 5 times a year and have a section devoted solely to VW's. Since California has a large cult following of VW enthusiasts, you'll get top dollar at an event like this where thousands of people attend from all over the country.

Additionally, E-Bay can give you somewhat of a reading too..

If none of those avenues are fruitful try calling the folks at www.kochs.com/. They deal strictly in vintage VW restoration and can probably give you a good idea of what your Bugs worth based upon what info you give them.
