Gardening and Horticulture - Trumpet Vine Nightmare....

How do I get rid of these nightmare vine. Last year I planted 2 of these vines next to my house, and it was the biggest mistake I ever made.
I know someone going to say I should have did my research on this vine before I planted it. But I didn't and now it's to late.

These plant was growing out of control, it will destroy anything and everything in it path. It has ripped the mortar out between the bricks, pulled the siding off the house. So these year I wanted it out, but it's not that easy. The root ball it giant now, I can not believe how far the roots have spread out.

I don't know what to do to stop these thing. I dug up the plant but the roots seem to go on forever. No matter how many root I pull up, he plant still seems to spout up. I mean the thing is popping up 10 feet from where I planted it last year. Will i ever get rid of these thing?

Hit it with Round up, Spectracide or similar herbacide. That will kill it down to the roots. Since it spreads underground runners, you may have to keep an eye out for new shoots. Hit them as they appear, and you will soon be vine free.

Cut down trumpet vines and immediately brush non-selective herbicide or brush killer on the cuts.
