I have an elderly friend who’s having her daughter and daughters husband moving back in her home to care for her. She needs to do some remodeling, and wants me to draw up some plans for a new bathroom built where a storage room is now. She needs plans for a permit and to make sure everything will fit comfortably.

I need help finding standard measurements for a handicapped shower, commode, vanity with sink etc… to draw it up and make sure she has the room for everything she wants. Anyone know anything about that or know where I can find it? Thanks

You can go to any stationary or office supply store that handles a line of drafting materilas and get a template for bathrooms and houses that have all the furniture and bathroom fixtures on them. Very cheap to buy and will last forever. I must have about a dozen of them. Cannot find one when I need it, so I just buy another. There are two different scales on one template I believe. Good Luck
