i am thinking of putting red mulch around house inplace of pine straw for use in flower beds & around srubs. do i need to worry about termites with the mulch.my home is brick but is not on a cement slab.the red mulch looks so much better than the pine straw. thanks for you help.

Hi Wheelerbuffy,
I realize it's been a long time since you posted, but the mulch shouldn't be a problem. It would be best to have some space between the house and the mulch with the mulch not directly against the house.
