Hi,
per some good info on this forum, I am looking at using a mix of interlocking paving stones and regular pavers to build a small patio, with one step, edged by the interlocking pavers. For the step and the edging, I am looking at using the interlocking paving stones, topped with pavers that match the patio.
Stupid question: how do I attach the regular pavers to the interlocking paving stones? Mortar? Julie

You do not use mortar with interlocking paving stones.
When you say "regular pavers", what do you mean? Clay or concrete? Thickness? I assume your interlocking pavers are 60 mm (2 -3/8") or 80 mm (3 - 1/8") thick.
With interlocking pavers, normally you use either flexible pastic, aluminum or steel edging to provide continuous restraint along the edge. There are numerous different shapes of interlocking pavers.
