Hello,
I need to cut a 12 to 16 inch hole in my concrete patio slab to run some conduit. So I am planning to rent a cutoff tool for this. I think the concrete is 4 inches thick. How deep must the cuts be before I start using the maul on it.
I just need to make a u cut as the hole will be up against the foundation wall.
When its time to refill the hole, what type of concrete mix should I use. I see many types at the home centers. The lowest expected temperature here is about 10 degrees F and the highest expected temperature would be about 97 degrees F.
