I have a stick-built utility shed and recently discovered termites. I believe that I have taken care of the current infestation with malathilon. I have about a gallon of chlordane but cannot find any directions for proper dilution and use for termites, as it is somewhat out of favor in the US. Does anyone have specific recommendations as to how to best use it to combat further termite invasions?

Don't know what region of the country you live in, but I live in Rochester, NY. We have termites (subterranean) in a rental we own. Spectracide has a couple of products for termite control. They have stakes you put in the ground that attract the termites to them, they eat it, go back to the nest and kill the rest of the colony, It's call "Termite detection and killing stakes", they also have a spray for termites and carpenter ants. I got it at Home Depot, if you have one near you, if not check online for it.
Good luck, they are terrible to get rid of. I tried Malathion and Diazanon, not sure on the spelling of those, but neither worked.

Malathion would be worthless for termites and a waste of good aphid treament

As best as I can remember the dilution rate for chlodane was 1 to 2%

do a google for either chlodane -application rate, dilution rate or mixture
