I'm looking at buying a 1996 Dodge 2500 p/u 4x4 short box 5.7 lt V8. Looks to be in great shape no accidents 180,000km.

I would suggest looking in your local publications like Auto Trader and newspaper. Prices vary around the world. Just a guess but $3,000 - $5,000 is about all I would pay for it.
