I am installing laminate hardwoods, but I am wondering what I should do with all my old flooring?

I've got close to 1,000 sq feet of decent carpet that I've pulled up, and an equal amount of carpet padding foam.

What should I do with it?
Will people buy this stuff, or do I haul it to the nearest dump?

Call habitat for humanity. If it's in good shape, they'll take it, use it, and give you a receipt for taxes as a donation.

or...........yes, people will buy it. especially for rentals. we had some at a garage sale & it was about the first thing we sold.
