I am planning on removing the rotten wood dividers in my concrete patio. I have found instructions on how to replace with redwood or treated wood but was wondering if there were other options.
What I would like to do is after removing the wood and cleaning the joints is to put in a layer of builder sand topped with decomposed granite and then compact the sand/dg. Does anyone know if this will work or will the sand/dg mixture wash away if it rains or get blown away if I use a blower to clean the patio.
I think it would be a cool look if it would work.
ADVICE??
