Evaporative Water Coolers - It won't pump.

I'm not exactly sure how to wire a cooler. I've followed all the directions and even enlisted the help of my neighbor (who has had and serviced his cooler for years) to try to get this thing working. Problem is I can't get the pump to work when on "High cool" it works perfect in all other positions. I have 2 identical coolers, all parts are the same, 2 brand new switches. I know it's not the switch cause I've tried them both on each cooler. I'm putting the 6 position switch directly on the front of the cooler itself. I've wired something wrong and don't know what the problem is. I hope someone can help. thanks. Porter.

Ok got it figured out. I had to splice a few wires from the pump. Black to white. Everything works now. I would post a pic to help others but the forum wont let me.
