Hi,
I have not repair concrete before and would appreciate all input. I want to stain the concrete around my pool but there is one major crack that is raised about 1/2 inch and runs about 2-3 feet long. There are also some gaps in the concrete between the pool ledge. I want to do this project myself and do not have major funds to have the concrete replaced. I am not necessarily looking for perfection...I just want the cement to look cleaner, fresher, newer. What is the best way to handle the cracks prior to staining the cement? Do I just use a cement filler? How about around the pool ledge? Thank you!!
