I have a 40-something inch round glass table in my kitchen that has a few small scratches in it. Does anyone know of a film or some other product that is clear that I could put on top of the table to prevent further scratches? I really like the look of the glass table so I don't want to cover it up with a tablecloth or table pad. Thanks!

Glass will scratch and all you could do is be careful and use place mats. A clear plastic table cloth is another choice.

Another alternative would be to check with a local automotive glass shop. They install tinted plastic to automotive windows all the time and should have clear available.

I think that film will also scratch if used on kitchen table but check before you buy it.

I have 2 glass tables myself and have the same issues. Though I don't know about any film that would be good, I personally just watch anything and everything anyone and everyone puts on the table. If it's drinks, use coasters. If it's plates, pots, pans, etc...use a cloth or rag or pot holder or place mats (as johnam suggested). ;) If it's anything else like keys, pens, etc., I just nicely say, "Put this somewhere else". :D
