Trouble with my TP50G60 Toshiba big screen manufactored in aug. 1997.
Was working great ,I just tried to turn on and power light blinking. I have no picture or sound. Any suggestions would be apprieciated. Not sure if I can tackle the job myself or if the costs of repair out weigh the cost of a new one.

I'm having the same problem. Can't find anything in the manual that relates to this condition.

The set is in safe mode because of a failure.
HAve a tech look at it since it usually requires some complicated testing and troubleshooting.
