Hello,
I am new to this site and hope this is the right place to ask my question.
I am wanting to replace the top on our Campion Bow-rider boat and need some help.
This will be the first time doing this for me, and some of the snaps that attach the boat top, the end embedded in the fibreglass, need to be replaced......please help. I don't know how to do this. Do you need a special tool?
Thanks so much,
Spring Chicken

If I am not mistaken they are just screwed to the boat. The screw goes in the middle of the snap and holds it down. Of course they will both (screw and snap) need to be made from stainless steel. Most marine shops will have them. They may be sold individualy or as a set. Just be sure to not overtighten and strip the screw. I would also advise you to put a dab of silicone caulk on the bottom of each snap before installing. This will help it hold and seal the screw hole at the same time.

Thank you so much, I will do that, badeyeben. You have been a big help.
It will probably take me a long time to get to that stage but I didn't want to start without knowing I could do it.
