My AC is stuck working between 80-high and 77 low temps. Regardless of what i set on thermostat. Both seem to be OK separately, but not talking to each other! Is it possible thermostat is not really setting the temperature? Or it is not sending the signal? help please. Temp in house in Miami very hot!!!

If you tie or jump R-Y-G together at the tstat will the AC run all the time ? If so Id say get a new tstat there. Be sure and keep the paper for the new tstat so you can set it right.
