Water Heater About 7 Years Old. It Started Running Out Of Hot Water. Changed Thermostat. Heating Element, Tp Valve Still Running Out Of Hot Water Also Sounds Like Its Running All The Time Even With No Water Running. Electric Water Heater Also I Read Comments About Dip Tube All Of My Water Connections Are At The Bottom So Do I Still Have A Dip Tube If So How To Find And Replace..thanks!!!!

A dip tube is used to channel cold replacement water to the bottom of the water heater when the cold water connection is at the top of the tank. The ideal solution is not to have a dip tube at all and to have the cold water feed in through the bottom like yours. Don't worry about the dip-tube...
