Hi,
The condenser unit of our central air system is making a beating type noise. Sound kind of like woo woo woo woo .....
Could the fan blades be out of balance or the motor bearing be shot?
The outdoor unit is a Bryant and the system is blowing plenty of cold air.
The condenser unit sits on steel brackets bolted to the foundation and some of the noise may be transferring because of this. Someone suggested placing rubber isolation pads under the unit. Would this help? Any idea where to get such a thing?
Ideally, I would like to make the noise stop.
Any help/suggestions?
