I have a craftsman rotary lawn mower 6.75 hp power propelled.21" multi cut.
Model # 017.378932.It is 3 years old.the electric start will not hold a charge.
what could be the problem? thank you

The starter motor is not energized so it's not this that won't hold a charge. You will likely have a dead battery that won't take a charge any longer or you will have a problem with the charger and/or charging system. I'm going to go with the battery. Have it load tested professionally to determine if it's good or not.
