Hello All,

Recently my AC fan started making noise when i started it up. I made the noise for a few minutes and then went away. Yesterday we had the AC going and at first the air coming out was cold but then it stopped blowing out cold air. I went outside to investigate the AC unit and I noticed that they fan was not turning. The AC unit was quite warm from the fan not working. My question is, could this have damaged my AC unit from not having the fan work for a while and still having the AC unit on. Also could it just be that the bearing in the fan froze up. If I just lubricate them should everything go back to normal?

Please give me some feedback on the matter above. It is suppose to be hot over the next few weeks and I need to get my AC working again.

Thanks in advanced for helping me,

Jonathan
