Is there a certin amount of time after click and lock laminate flooring has been laid to wait before returning furniture to the room?

Providing you let the material acclimate before installing it (you did, didn't you?), there is no wait time.

Yes I did. Not the full 48 hours but it will be about 40 or so.
I hope that is enough time.
